How to change BSNL Broadband password ? Changing DataOne password.
DataOne broadband password can be changed in the web site.
DataOne password can be changed in following simple steps.
Step 1. Goto
http://www.sancharnet.in/dataoneredirect.htmStep 2. Login using your current username & password.
Step 3. Click on Change password.
Step 4. Enter your old password and new password.
Done! Your dataone password is changed. From next login use the new password.
Note : Enter your new password in your ADSL modem / Broadband dialing properties.
Sharing BroadBand Internet among 2 or more PCs
The easiest way to share the internet is LAN. Since the ADSL Modem is a router by default it can be used as a router for LAN also. Connect the modem LAN connection to Hub/ Switch. ADSL Router /Modem Purchase Guide.
Hai All,
BSNL is currently providing Huawei ADSL Router with DataOne broadband connection. Huawei is very stable and easy to configure. It comes almost for only half the price of D Link Router. But D Link wireless routers are more powefull than Huawei one.
Basic model of Huawei ( with one Ethernet port & one USB) comes for Rs 1200/- . D Link modem price varies according to dealer ( from Rs 1600 to Rs 2200). If anybody is going for a DLink modem make sure that you will be getting installation support. It is reported that DLink's new model 103i is not working in many places. So before going for a D Link modem make sure that particular model works under your exchange.

Till today there is no complaints about speed. In last 2 months 3 times I have experienced connectivity problem.. and it was rectified in 2-3 hrs.
Some connections working more than 4 KM away from exchanges having some speed problem. Linux connectivity solutions are available on internet.
